How To Feel Inspired When Frustrated With The World Around Me

Our world as we know it is in turmoil; our leaders don't know what to do to get the country back on a track of prosperity - the American way. We all seem to be waiting for them to solve the problems, but not only is our country struggling with problems, many of our people are too...with several issues, one is their spirituality and self-worth.
Are you one of them?
Do you wake in the middle of the night wishing you could pack a bag and leave forever? Are you positive thee are something wrong spiritually and if you don't find out what it is you will just vanish from life as you know it?
Maybe some times you have to get down to the very basic truths and begin from there.
  • You are the person you have evolved to at this point in time. You are the sum total of whatever you have learned, experienced, and come to understand until this moment.
  • You are here doing exactly what you have chosen to do because that's the path you've taken that led to this exact spot.
  • You are going depends on where it is you want to end up, and that can be anywhere...depending on how hard you want to work for it, toward it, what you are willing to sacrifice, and what it will cost you in the long run.
Perhaps our destiny-journey begins the first time we make a decision between two choices - it is our personal relationship with our inner spirit. At that precise instant we begin forming our inner beliefs and feelings - we choose what appears to be our 'right' path and follow it.
Each and every person must follow that path closest to their belief system - not all of those choices lead down a rose covered path to peace and contentment. Ironically, people making poor choices have chosen sad and confused lives, while those making good choices chose to lead lives of happy contentment.
Experience has taught us however, that no one path is clear to the end - every path takes its own detours and adjustments are made - poor choices can be altered and good choices can fall into despair.
No single spiritual path works for everyone, each seeker follows their own path to their ultimate destiny.
Whether your spiritual views are wide or narrow - they are yours; everyone has to pursue the path individually; being useful and helpful is often a path toward enlightenment.
You are spirit and soul in your own humanity - continue to search and learn - let the miracle of your inner peace begin by accepting who you are, where you're at, and why you're doing what you're doing - this is your existence. You are who you are and you are where you need to be, doing what you're doing. That is your destiny. Let God take care of the rest...especially the 'why'.
With so many of our people jobless, homeless, and bankrupt the questions of 'who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? What should I do?' And you know what - only a lucky few can answer these questions with conviction. Because of all the uncertainty the answers to each question changes as often as we think to ask it again and again.
